(1) Improved concentration. An increased capacity to focus. An increased capacity to listen to others. Less distractions from both your own unwanted thoughts and outside stimuli.
(2) Stress reduction, both generally and at critical high-pressure times like sports competitions.
(3) An ability to calm yourself in those moments when you’re upset.
(4) Increased self-awareness.
(5) An opening to “Mystery”, something you can’t explain but sense might be there.
